Merger with Joomla

The Enano project is extremely pleased and excited to announce a development that will greatly improve Enano as a product in the future. Today we announce a merger with Joomla, a leading open source PHP/MySQL CMS.

The project will get the super-Web 2.0 name Enoomla. We hope to integrate Enano's plugin system, installer, ajax page editing and wiki style structure with Joomla's amazing, innovative and extremely colorful admin menu. At the Enoomla Usability Summit this summer, the Enoomla project will have a 3-day code-a-thon during which we will be adding support for ACLs and Joomla themes to Enoomla.

Enoomla will use Joomla's infrastructure as it is larger than Enano's; however we will be retaining the use of Mercurial as our SCM.
