7 days 'till Alpha 4
Nope, we sure ain't dead.
The Enano Team is pleased to announce Enano 1.1.4, the fourth alpha release in the development of Caoineag. We plan to release Enano 1.1.4 on July 12 or perhaps earlier depending on when the codebase reaches completion of the features that are being targeted for Enano 1.1.4.
This release will feature many fixes (especially performance-related), updates, and new features, and we are very excited to release it. Over the next couple of months, we will be releasing a fifth alpha release and then moving on into the beta and release candidate stages. Enano 1.2.0 will be released in late 2008 or early 2009, depending on what issues are found during the beta and RC cycles. During this time we will need a lot of feedback from users, especially bug reports.
If you have a feature that you're dying to see in Enano 1.2, now is the time to make that request. The major feature freeze for Caoineag will take place after Alpha 5, and minor features will be frozen after the second beta. Release candidates will be limited to bugfixes, translations, and security updates.
